Díaz-Canel promises better times with "effort and creative resistance"

The president recognizes that the situation in the country is critical and asks the people for confidence in the future.

Miguel Diaz-Canel He does not miss the opportunity to ask Cubans for confidence that better times will come, something that many people doubt in the midst of the acute political, social and economic crisis in Cuba.

In the second program From the Presidency, recognized this Thursday that the state of opinion of Cubans regarding the situation in the country, the shortage of food and the basic basket, is "critical and negative."

He assured that better times will come, as long as the people know how to offer alternatives, work hard, make an effort and take advantage of what he calls the "creative resistance".

The Cuban philosopher, scientist and ruler spoke of "four fundamental dimensions" in it supply of the basic basket. They are:

1. "Time", since the population wonders what is causing the delay in the complete distribution of errands.

2. "Quality", which he did not delve into for obvious reasons.

3. "The composition of that basket", with products missing or out of frequency in their delivery.

4. "The government process for the supply of food", which in his opinion is vital for Cubans without family abroad and who live exclusively from the supply book.

Miguel Diaz-Canel tried to give his reasons why there is no food in Cuba. He repeated his usual speech: We have to import, there is no money and prices on the international market have risen.

From the televised show, it was specifically learned that in Cuba there will be availability of rice and wheat until June. When summer arrives, the government will see whether or not it can guarantee bread in the warehouse.

It is not known when the best times will arrive and it seems they will not be very stable.
