This new action against the dictatorship shows the discontent and boredom of the residents of the so-called "cradle of the revolution", where on March 17 Hundreds of people took to the streets to protest shouting "Homeland and Life" and "current and food."

Since then, the situation has not changed and the people of Santiago continue to suffer from the same shortages, in a context aggravated by the repression of the regime and the increase in violent crimes.

At the end of March, the first secretary of the Party in the province, Beatriz Johnson Urrutia, announced that the problem of lack of water was going to be resolved and asked the population "not to despair", since in a week everyone would have "your little bit of water."

"And let people know that The little bit of water is going to arrive tomorrow, or the day after, or the next day, but no one should despair.", he claimed.

In the protests of the previous days, Johnson and other leaders of the regime They tried to calm the protesters from the roof of a house, but the people did not let her speak, calling her a "liar" and shouting "freedom", "down with communism" and "Homeland and Life".
