The "not First Lady of Cuba" Lis Cuesta Peraza woke up this April 20 congratulating her husband, the ruler, through social networksMiguel Diaz-Canel, who turns 64 this Saturday.

"Congratulations, my divine lover, I borrow from a great what I want to tell you today: 'If I love you it is because you are / my love, my accomplice and everything / and on the street side by side / we are much more than two.' your side forever", wrote Cuesta Peraza on Twitter, using some verses by the Uruguayan poet Mario Benedetti in a saccharine message as only she knows how and with a photo of Díaz-Canel in the pose of a soap opera heartthrob.

Last year Lis was much more prosaic, because on that occasionShe shared an image of her husband playing ball and asked that life reward him.

""Congratulations my love! May life reward youwith more health, intelligence, patience and strength to continue pushing this island and serving your people, whom you love so much, and that I can, together with our family, protect you more," he wrote then.

Health we do not know, butCubans are aware that some of these requests were not granted in the last year.

As of the closing of this note, Lis Cuesta's overflowing congratulations have received more than 560 comments, many from supporters of the dictator of her heart, but some with mockery in all shades.

From the "You are chea and recontrachea",until the following "weighty" reasoning based on Benedetti's verses:"If they ride a Yutong, it shows that there are more than two of them because they will each have to travel in a double seat just because of how fat they are. It's real, there are more than two."

"What a shame that the parents of the 'dictator of your heart' did not use a condom", another Internet user slipped in the flood of messages.

Memes of all kinds are also beginning to make an appearance.

In recent years, sweet exchanges between Díaz-Canel and Lis Cuesta on Twitter have been frequent.

In this especially controversial crossing, Lis's insistence on calling her husband has been"divine lover" and"dictator of my heart."

A native of Holguín, Lis Cuesta married Miguel Díaz-Canel in 2009. They met when he was First Secretary of the Communist Party of that province and she was director of the Provincial Book Center of that city.

Cuesta is currently a director of the Paradiso Agency, of the Ministry of Culture, a company that organizes meetings and cultural and academic exchange trips. It has been widely criticized for promoting artistic events such as theFestival San Remo Music Awards and other high-level gastronomic types, this in the midst of the rampant economic and food crisis suffered by the people of Cuba.

In April 2020A group of photos of the couple's wedding were leaked. The images, which went viral on social networks, showed the president hugging, kissing and carrying his wife.

At the moment the honoree has not made an appearance on social networks this Saturday to celebrate his name day, although several of his acolytes have done so, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
