Man with mental illness causes fire in his house in Santiago de Cuba

In March, a man stabbed his schizophrenic brother in Santiago de Cuba to help the mother of both, who had been brutally beaten by the man suffering from a mental disorder.

The incident occurred in Micro 9, in the José Martí District of the city, and left injuries to the mental patient and a hip fracture to his mother.

As revealed by independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta, they had wanted to admit the man with schizophrenia, but they did not accept him in any hospital.
