Women accused of stealing $200,000 in jewelry from a man in South Florida have turned themselves in to the police

The victim of the robbery was a man.

Two women accused of stealing over $200,000 in jewelry from a man in Hallandale Beach, Broward County, in complicity with a third woman on May 6, surrendered to the police.

Lexi Buffaloe, 26, and Antonietta Ceccarelli, 28, surrendered to the authorities on Tuesday night, while the third accused, Juliana Cortés, 23, had already turned herself in on Sunday and appeared in court on Monday.

The three young women arrested for robbery and other charges

According to the arrest warrant -released by local media- on May 6, the victim had just won money at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and returned home to the Golden Isles neighborhood in Hallandale Beach after midnight.

Upon arriving at his home, he realized he didn't have any Diet Coke and went to a Walgreens located at 1300 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd., where, according to the police, he met "Layla," "Nicki," and "Rose."

The police have stated that the trio engaged in a conversation with a man in line to pay, exchanged phone numbers, and then called him to go to his home around 3 a.m.

The arrest warrant specifies that the three women took the opportunity to steal cash, jewelry, and a valuable watch from the man by using "their breasts and sexuality among themselves as a distraction."

The watch was a James Cameron special edition Rolex valued at $25,000.

After the women left the home, the victim realized that his late wife's gold ring, valued at $100,000, was missing, along with a gold chain worth $68,000, about $3,500 in cash, and "various pieces of adult paraphernalia," which the arrest warrant does not specify.

However, it wasn't too difficult to find a lead on the suspects.

Authorities stated that they were able to identify the vehicle in which the women were traveling, a Range Rover, through a license plate reader installed at the Golden Isles security booth.

They also linked the phone number used by one of the women to communicate with the victim.

The trio of women now faces several charges, including grand theft and fraud.

Cortés, accused of first-degree grand theft and fraudulent acquisition of properties valued over $50,000, pleaded not guilty during her court appearance last Monday and was released on bail.
