Women accused of stealing $200,000 worth of jewelry from a man in South Florida surrender to the police.

The victim of the robbery was a man.

Two women accused of stealing over 200,000 in jewelry from a man in Hallandale Beach, Broward County, on May 6th in collaboration with a third female, surrendered to the police.

Lexi Buffaloe (26 years old) and Antonietta Ceccarelli (28) turned themselves in to the authorities on Tuesday night, while the third accused, Juliana Cortés, 23 years old, had already turned herself in on Sunday and appeared before the court on Monday.

The three young women arrested for theft and other charges.

According to the arrest warrant -disseminated by the local press- on May 6th, the victim had just won money at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and returned to his home in the Golden Isles neighborhood in Hallandale Beach after midnight.

Upon arriving at his home, he realized he didn't have any Diet Coke and went to a Walgreens located at 1300 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd. where, according to the police, he met "Layla", "Nicki", and "Rose".

The police have said that the trio struck up a conversation with a man while waiting in line to pay, exchanged phone numbers, and then called him to go to his house around 3 a.m.

The arrest warrant specifies that the three women took advantage of the opportunity to steal cash, jewelry, and a valuable watch from the man by exposing "their breasts and sexuality among themselves as a distraction".

The watch was a special edition James Cameron Rolex valued at $25,000.

After the women left the house, the victim realized that his late wife's gold ring, valued at $100,000, was missing, along with a gold chain worth $68,000, about $3,500 in cash, and "several adult paraphernalia pieces," which the arrest warrant does not specify.

However, it was not too complicated to find the trail of the suspects.

The authorities said they were able to identify the vehicle in which the women were traveling, a Range Rover, through a license plate reader installed at the security booth of Golden Isles.

They also linked the phone number used by one of the women to communicate with the victim.

The trio of women now faces several charges, including grand theft and fraud.

Cortés, accused of first-degree large-scale robbery and fraudulent acquisition of properties above 50,000, pleaded not guilty at her court appearance last Monday and was released on bail.
