Questions from an ordinary Cuban to the Government: "How long do we have to keep enduring this?"

A Cuban expressed frustration with the current crisis on the island.

A Cuban made a moving reflection about the brutal crisis that the people are going through in all aspects and summed up in several questions the immense discomfort that afflicts the residents on the island.

"Where is the money of all Cubans? How long do we have to keep enduring? Do the families of the Cuban leaders not have feelings? Can't they see what they are doing to the people?" summarized journalist Mario J. Pentón when he published the video on his social networks.

In the images, the outraged Cuban starts to question how it is possible that the relatives of the government's top officials are so indifferent to the suffering of the people.

"How is it possible that their relatives see what is happening as we do and none of them feel sorry or feel pity to see people suffering, children crying, children going without food, children in hospitals suffering and often dying due to lack of medication?" she asked.

He also gave the example of people who stay up until dawn without eating because they cook with electricity and the lack of supply leaves them with no options, the example of bedridden people without electricity in their homes.

"How is it possible that the rulers and the relatives of the rulers all have such hard hearts that they are not capable of feeling what is happening?" she reiterated.

Questioned that the son or mother of one of the top leaders of the country does not question him or challenge him to do something real for the well-being of the people.

The informant -whose identity has not been revealed- urged the relatives of the country's leadership to learn about the harsh daily life, to walk the streets, to join the lines, to see people suffering, to see people who have nothing to eat.

What they do is take our money. The money belongs to the people. The money does not belong to the States. The people are the ones who sow, the people are the ones who build, the people are the ones who work. They are the ones who owe the people, not the other way around," he clarified.

"They have been stealing everything that belongs to us. Where is the money from everything that is being sold and has been sold?" he asked, citing examples of lobsters, shrimps, tobacco, and other exportable items that the government exploits despite the crisis.

"How long will this continue? How long will we have to keep enduring no power, the heat, mosquitoes, not being able to cook, not being able to work?" concluded the Cuban, whose heartfelt reflection generated hundreds of comments on Mario J. Pentón's Facebook profile.

Many agreed that the relatives of the leaders obviously know, but since they do not suffer firsthand from this crisis, and furthermore benefit from the current situation, they turn a deaf ear to it.
