The prices of food and agricultural products in Cuba's agros continue to trend upwards, with a special emphasis on pork meat. This meat is the favorite of most Cubans, but they have had to stop buying it.

Food Price Table in Havana, June 2024

Last summer, pork meat cost 550 pesos per pound. Time has passed and the new prices are alarming for consumers.

The rise in prices at the markets in Havana reflects the serious economic crisis facing the country, where salaries fail to cover the basic needs of the population.

Given this situation, it is urgent to implement effective measures to control inflation and ensure the people's access to essential products at reasonable prices.

The community eagerly awaits solutions that will alleviate the economic burden and improve the quality of life of citizens amid this prolonged crisis, but the regime continues to fail to provide solutions.
