The boxer Yordenis Ugás celebrated an exchange he had with young Cubans inserted in the United States Army.

In a post shared on his Facebook profile, Yordenis stated that he feels proud of these young people who are serving in the United States Army.

Yesterday I joined a live stream with these Cuban soldiers on TikTok. I was talking to them for over two hours. They are all soldiers from the United States military. I was the only civilian," said Ugás, who also shared a picture of the virtual meeting.

The boxer mentioned that he asked the attendees why there are so few Cubans enlisted in the United States Army.

"I told them that I feel a lot of pride and respect for them. These are some of the best men in our community," wrote the boxer.

Ugás pointed out that the young people included him in their WhatsApp group "Cubans of the Army", where they talked about many things in the heat of the moment.

He said he looks forward to meeting them and thanked them for their service. He also asked his followers to show respect in the comments section "to these brave men from our community."

People took the opportunity to send their best wishes and show their respects to these young individuals.

"My respect and admiration for all of them, blessings," said a person.

"You make our prestige as Cubans very high... You are the pride of all of us. Bravo," another user confessed.
