Cubans ask for help to catch two men who were caught on surveillance camera stealing a bicycle at a bar in Las Tunas.
This is a short video of a robbery at Bar Restaurante 55 located on Maceo Street 55 between Lico and Martí, leaving a hard-working lady from the bar without her means of transportation, according to the security camera footage description shared by Facebook user Roberto De Jesús Pérez.
In the video, you can see how these two men, apparently young, wait for the right moment to steal the bicycle from the establishment.
At the beginning, one is at the entrance of the premises, while keeping watch for the other to steal the bicycle.
Some big guys dedicate themselves to stealing from the most needy who work and need to help their families, while they usually steal to buy alcohol on any corner," they warn in the publication.
In the midst of the scarcity that Cuba is going through, the increase in crime is keeping the population on edge. Faced with the inefficiency and neglect of the authorities, some are looking for ways to try to catch criminals and are installing surveillance cameras that have allowed the discovery of the identity of wrongdoers while they act in complete impunity.
A few weeks ago, surveillance cameras installed in a house in Havana captured a man who entered at night and stole a washing machine that was in the patio.
Danay Zerquera shared the video on her Facebook wall and asked for help to identify the criminal.
Additionally, a man was caught on a surveillance camera at the exact moment he entered a cafeteria in Santiago de Cuba and stole a cell phone.
The affected person reported on Facebook the theft of their mobile phone and asked that anyone with information about the thief should contact them immediately.
