"An AX 100 all over Houston": Cuban shows off his new acquisition on TikTok and receives a flood of comments

"If you used it in Cuba, you were from the G2, only they had them," reads among the critical comments on the post.

A young Cuban man living in Houston excitedly showed off his most recent acquisition, a Suzuki AX 100 motorcycle, evoking nostalgia from his life in Cuba.

In the video shared on TikTok from his account @jorge_drake1992, which has generated numerous reactions (almost 7 thousand likes in one day and over 800 comments), Jorge proudly showed off his new motorcycle. "Memories are memories," he wrote about the material.

"Look at this, my people, what I just bought here in Houston to remind me of when I lived in Cuba," she began in the video, where she noted that surely after sharing her post, some would come out to tell her that she was "bringing the backwardness of Cuba, the crap, the communism," opinions that she invited to overlook and, instead, encouraged everyone to do what made them happy.

"My people, you should buy what you like, and if you feel good doing so, if you want to remember your moments when you lived in Cuba, you buy whatever you feel like," he added.

Look at this, brand new, Texas license plate. They say that remembering is living again. Let's start it up and see how this sounds. Oh, this is top-notch, folks. Let's go now. Look how awesome this is, folks. An AX 100 all around Houston. Brand new, straight from the package," says the video showing him, like a kid with a new toy, taking a ride on the motorcycle.

The video has not only shown the joy of this Cuban, but it has also generated a sea of reactions on TikTok.

As I well knew would happen, among the comments there were negative reactions that mainly alluded to those who had those motorcycles in Cuba: "That motorcycle belongs to an undercover agent"; "If you used it in Cuba, you were with the G2, only they had them"; "Bro, my only memory of that is when they used to come looking for me, I don't even want to see it"; "It sounds like a tin can of cookies"; "So you're remembering that you were an official of the MININT in Cuba because only the officials of the MININT had those motorcycles"; "Those are the motorcycles of State Security"; "That's what the snitching communists of Cuba ride... if to remember is to live, you will have your reasons", commented some among the hundreds of messages.

Many others, however, celebrated his purchase and defended his right to enjoy his memories and to do whatever he wanted with his money: "Congratulations, with your money you can buy whatever you want, don't pay attention"; "Brother, to remember is to live again"; "Blessings and enjoy, the money is yours"; "Your bike is very nice, enjoy it"; "Congratulations, my brother, to remember is to live again", "That's right, brother", "Don't pay attention to anyone, one has to be happy and that's it"; "You're awesome, bro, remembering old times, I wish I had one here"; "Very cool, man, I love it, make more videos", they said.

Some of them also express their wishes to get a similar motorcycle and asked him for more information: "Where can I get one?"; "I want one"; "Brother, how much did it cost you?"; "Where did you buy it? I'm from Houston."

And what do you think?

What do you think?
