A woman is reported to be in serious condition following a dramatic accident involving a tourist car in Granma, according to reports on social media.
The incident occurred this Tuesday morning on the road towards Baire, leaving Jiguaní, as reported in a post on the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES, por más experiencia y menos víctimas".
The user explains that the tourist car tried to overtake a truck and collided with a bicycle carrying a woman, who is in serious condition.
The publication details that the driver of the vehicle made several steering wheel movements, crashed into a wall, and finally pulled out a power pole.
Internet users reacted indignantly and criticized the drivers who travel at excess speed, something especially common among those who visit the island and rent tourist cars.
"That reckless hurry caused it, if he had waited for the bike to pass before overtaking the truck, nothing would have happened, now he ruined the cyclist's life," commented a member of the group.
"Those rental cars drive like crazy... there are many accidents involving them... quick recovery for the cyclist!", another said.
