This Friday, July 5th, a train service will start operating to the beaches in eastern Havana to facilitate the mobility of the population during the summer.
It is a medium-sized locomotive with four cars, with an approximate capacity of 200 passengers, belonging to the Occidente Railway Company of the Cuban Railway Union.
According to the information shared on Facebook by the Minister of Transportation, Eduardo Rodríguez Dávila, the train will operate from Tuesday to Sunday; Monday will be dedicated to technical inspections and maintenance.
It will depart at 9:00 am from the platform located at Egido and Arsenal Street and will arrive at 10:35 am. The return will be at 6:05 pm.
It will make stops at: Gas Link, Arenal, Guanabacoa Cross, Nalón stop, Jewish Cemetery, Cambute, Cuadras, Bacuranao, Tarará - Berroa, Las Playas stop, Corona, and Playas del Este branch link.
The service will have an origin to destination price of 35.00 CUP, and a tiered fare system will be applied.
