Biden after shooting against Trump in Pennsylvania: "I am praying for him and his family"

The president of the United States and candidate for reelection from the Democratic Party, referred to the shooting in which the former president and his opponent in this electoral race, Donald Trump, was injured.

Through a statement published by the White House, Biden said he was aware of what happened this afternoon at a rally in Pennsylvania.

“I am glad to know that he is safe and well. I am praying for him and his family, and for all those who were at the rally, as we wait for more information,” the current U.S. president said.

While adding his satisfaction for Trump's personal security service.

Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for keeping him safe. There is no place for this kind of violence in the United States. We must come together as a nation to condemn it," he noted.

So far, two people, including the shooter, are known to have died at the scene.
