The Cuban-American businessman Sergio Pino dies in an apparent suicide.

On Tuesday morning, federal agents and local police had carried out a raid on Sergio Pino's home.

The Cuban-American businessman Sergio Pino, 67, was found dead on Tuesday at his residence in the exclusive Cocoplum neighborhood in Coral Gables, in an apparent act of suicide, confirmed Local 10 News.

The death of Pino, 67 years old, occurs hours after FBI agents and local police raided his house.

Agents, along with local police officers, were seen outside the magnate's house on Isla Dorada Boulevard,” Local 10 News reported on Tuesday.

Immediately, several media outlets picked up on the information.

The journalist from the mentioned news outlet, Trent Kelly, pointed out on his social media account X that "several shots and strong blows were heard outside the house," while also mentioning that police officers were "at the property for hours conducting some sort of investigation."

Furthermore, several SWAT trucks were visible outside the location.

Pino was the founder of Century Homebuilders Group, described on its website as "one of the largest Hispanic homebuilders in the country."

Even federal agents arrived at their facilities, located at 1805 Ponce de Leon STE 100, Coral Gables.

The tycoon and his wife, Tatiana, have been going through a divorce process since 2022, which has not been peaceful, as there are allegations of poisoning, arson, and harassment made during the unpleasant divorce battle, as recently reported by the Miami Herald.

Tatiana, 55, married Pino, 67, in 1992 and they have two children, as well as a combined net worth of $153 million, according to a document referenced by Daily Mail.

These accusations of poisoning and threats to his wife had been denied by Pino.
