El Yonki dedicates a heartfelt song to his mother two months after her passing: "My world feels empty."

The story begins with the last messages they sent to each other before his death.

Two months after the passing of his mother, Alejandro Santoya, known popularly as El Yonki, has wanted to remember her by dedicating a moving song that summarizes all the longing he feels after her physical departure.

"Today marks two months, but you still look beautiful and I feel you by my side. I'm drawing strength from the pain to give the best version of myself. You are my everything, the air I breathe. You left me a very difficult task, but in your name, I have to face them all and honor your crown. All your neighbors, friends, and your neighborhood miss you; nothing will be the same without you. Santa forever. I love you, Mom," wrote the reggaeton artist on his Instagram while sharing the song along with a photo of his mom.

The topic begins with the last messages they both sent before his death. When El Yonki was on his way to Cuba to see her, he told her that she is his treasure, his princess, and he loves her with his life, while his mom assured him that she was crazy to hug him.

"How difficult it is for me to accept that you are not by my side / My world feels empty / At night I feel very cold, I don't have your coat," says a part of the lyrics of the song.

In the comments to his post, his partner and several of his followers sent him messages of great strength, adding that his mom will always be proud of him.

El Yonki's mother passed away last May after months of battling a painful illness.
