Cuban in the United States lists reasons why she prefers not to travel to Cuba: "There are blackouts and there is no food."

Cuban explains why they prefer Cancun or the Dominican Republic over Cuba for their vacations.

A Cuban woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a video in which she expresses her frustration and disappointment about the idea of traveling to Cuba.

In the video, Nancy González (@nancygonzalezsinfiltro) starts by saying: "Today I woke up wanting to go to Cuba. I woke up wanting to stroll through the neighborhood where I was born, to see the people. I woke up with a strong desire to book a ticket and go to Cuba for vacation."

However, her plans are quickly overshadowed by a series of inconveniences she mentions. "But I start to think about having to renew a Cuban passport, I think about having to bring even aspirin, that there are power outages, there's no food, that I have to rent a car and maybe there won't even be gasoline," the Cuban woman recounts, highlighting the multiple challenges travelers to the island face.

The woman also denounces the additional difficulties posed by travel agencies in Miami, pointing out potential scams. "I start to think about the scams from the agencies in Miami, but what worries me the most is arriving in Cuba at the airport and being attempted to be robbed," she adds.

Finally, it ends with a decisive statement: "Hey, and I no longer feel like going to Cuba. I'm going to Cancun or the Dominican Republic, you go to Cuba, I'm not going." Her declaration has resonated with many users, who have shared their own experiences and opinions in the comments.

"That's right, but for someone who has a mother and a child over there, none of that matters and you can't criticize them for doing it," "By the third 'I start to think,' I had already lost the desire," "I wish I had that desire, but I never get it," or "Mom, we all have that desire, but to see it beautiful and clean without dictatorship," they tell this Cuban in the comments.
