The Cuban Lea Gallo (@leagallo_ on TikTok) is part of the Army, and on her TikTok profile, she doesn’t hesitate to share some of the curiosities that internet users most often ask about the U.S. Army. The most viral video she has on the social network is the one in which she shows how they eat food when they are in the field.

In the clip, which has over 16 million views, Lea showcases the various packaged foods that are part of the well-known MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat), which is the standard food kit for soldiers in field situations.

The package contains cookies, chocolate protein, strawberry, and peanut butter, among some other items. And the main food in the package is macaroni with sauce. "This is one of my favorites," admits the Cuban, who shows how to prepare the food. To eat it, they have to add water to a bag and heat the bag of macaroni in it.
