The 24-year-old young man, who passed away on Saturday in Pinar del Río after a tragic accident on the road leading to Cayo Jutías beach, was bid farewell by his friends and acquaintances.

In the Facebook group "Ventas Pinar," messages of condolence appeared for the passing of Roniel Pérez, a young father who, after his death, has left a baby orphaned.

"The deceased was a known individual. Rest in peace to the family, he was just a child with a life ahead of him, may God watch over him from now on and give strength to his baby who is now growing up without a dad," wrote a netizen in the post.

Another friend of the deceased was more brief in her message. “I’m not going to express my pain with so many words, just fly high Roniel,” she expressed along with a photograph of the young father with his baby.

According to one version of the incident, the young man "fell underneath the bus" because he "went out through the door," they said.

Many agreed that he was a resident of a town called 10 de Octubre.

The accident in which Roniel died occurred "in Viñales," and the bus he was traveling on was "a Diana heading to Cayo Jutías beach."

Photos shared in the Facebook group 'Bus & Truck Accidents' showed the bus overturned on the side of the road. A tow truck was dispatched to the site to remove it from the brush where it had tipped over on its side.
