The young Cuban Escarle de Jesús Basulto Céspedes, one of the two men reported missing in Guantánamo, was found alive.

The journalist Miguel Reyes Mendoza, known as Miguel Noticias on Facebook, received a message from Mrs. Yudith Benítez, the aunt of Basulto, who publicly thanked for the support in denouncing this case on social media and the citizen collaboration to find her nephew.

"Good evening, to the followers of Miguel Noticias, family and friends, I want to thank you for your constant concern about my nephew's situation and to tell you that he has been found. He is at home, thank you," said Benítez, without going into details about what happened.

The disappearance of Basulto had caused great concern among his family and friends, who had been searching for him for about a week.

Miguel Noticias also expressed his gratitude to the followers "for continuing to contribute to the well-being of the people of Guantánamo and Cubans."

However, the Guantanamera community remains on alert due to the disappearance of Jorge Luis Salfrán, 64 years old, who has still not been located.

Dr. Marcos Mustelier requested help to find the elderly man. He is an alcoholic patient, but he is in his right mind and does not suffer from any illness. He was admitted to the nursing home, but he claimed that he did not want to stay there any longer. He escaped from the home located at km 2½ of the Caimanera road, the day before his birthday.

Anyone with information about Salfrán can contact 21 365294 (this is the phone number for the nursing home) or 59955421.
