They are asking for help for a Cuban writer operated on in the U.S.: "My wife is paying for everything."

The Cuban requested support for the sale of his book, an action and fiction novel, which will be released on August 25.

A Cuban writer based in Miami, who worked as an Uber driver, has asked for help to sell his book that will be released on August 25. Currently, household expenses are fully covered by his wife, as he recently underwent surgery.

The TikToker Dairon Cano (@dairon_cano_champions) responded to the call of the Cuban writer Carlos Rafael Rodríguez Nerey, who asked for help to promote his new book and thus contribute to household expenses.

"I have been out of work for four months after undergoing surgery for a plantar ulcer that became infected with bacteria, and they almost amputated my foot," Rodríguez explained, noting that he used to work as an Uber driver, a job he has had to abandon due to the surgery and the injury, which prevent him from driving.

He stated that he lives with his wife, who also drives for Uber, and she is currently the one covering all the expenses.

The influencer Cano asked for support for the book that will be released on August 25, which he noted is an action and espionage novel: “The only way he can support his wife and make some money is by selling the books.”

Cano, who usually supports Cubans in Miami, recently published a video in which he showed a resident of Villa Clara making a living by selling fruits on the streets.

Also, in recent days, she asked for help for a Cuban mother who is unable to find a job in Miami, explaining that she has applied for jobs in various places without success, and needs to support her two small daughters.
