Yomil recounts that he rejected an offer from Alexander Delgado after the separation from Gente de Zona.

A few months earlier, Alexander had responded to whether he would collaborate with Yomil.

Yomil revealed in a recent interview that Alexander Delgado, leader of Gente de Zona, had called him after Jacob Forever left the group in 2013.

In the interview given to La Familia Cubana, Yomil said: "Ah, I'm going to work with Los 4 and then comes the split from Gente de Zona, which is when Jacob calls El Dany and Alexander calls me. The first thing I did was: 'it's for nothing', I called Jorgito and everyone was telling me: 'no, don't call Jorgito, wait to see what he says' and I said 'no no', he was my brother at that time. And I called him and said 'brother this is happening, tell me what to do' and he told me 'go see him and see what he says, but you know it's for nothing'. Exactly. I went to see him and when I saw him I told him: 'all that is very nice'. He told me 'Gente de Zona is level, you know....' At that time I had only one pair of shoes, two pants, and three sweaters. Then I told him no and we continued with Los 4."

In March, Alexander Delgado had responded in an interview with content creator Un Martí to Durako about his relationship and the possibility of a musical collaboration with Yomil—a topic of recurring interest among fans, especially due to the romantic relationship that Yomil and Mily Alemán maintained between 2016 and 2017, Mily being Alexander Delgado's partner and the mother of his younger son, Alex Jr.

"I refrain from talking about Yomil. I don't want to handle that topic about Yomil, because we have nothing to do with each other, nothing, we have no relationship," he said on that occasion. "It's not a topic that comes to my mind ever, nor to deal with it, nor to talk, nor to think about it. Everything is fine, everything is calm," he added.

Will Alexander react to Yomil's interview or will he remain silent and reserve all his energy for his career, his projects, and the enjoyment of his personal life?

Here is the full interview, and if you want to know about Randy Malcom's arrival to the group - where he has been for over a decade - click here to listen to how he and Alexander recounted it in 2018.
