Venezuelan comedian George Harris warns: "If a Cuban tells you 'be careful,' run!"

The comedian acknowledged the bravery of Cuban rafters and urged Hispanics to listen to and learn from the experiences narrated by immigrants from Cuba.

The renowned Venezuelan comedian George Harris, famous for his hilarious shows in Miami and other cities in the United States, has once again stirred up controversy with an emotional message about the experience of Cubans and the current situation in Venezuela.

"We are where we are today because we did not listen to Cubans in 1997 and 1998. When a Cuban tells you 'Be careful,' run, no... ¡Flee!. When a Cuban says to you: 'I am feeling this at the moment'... ¡Run!" said Harris, referring to the experience Cubans have in identifying signs of a lack of freedoms.

He explained that he would not dedicate the entire show to the electoral process in the United States, nor to what is happening in Venezuela, but there were some things he did not want to leave untouched.

He recognized the courage of the Cuban rafters, those immigrants who risk their lives in search of freedom to escape the regime that has driven the country into extreme poverty.

Harris's advice drew laughter from the audience, but it was also an invitation to reflect on the harsh experiences faced by many immigrants from the island and their homeland, who prefer to risk their lives rather than remain in a country under communist rule.

The comedian urged the Hispanic community to listen to and learn from the stories of those who have left everything behind in search of a better life, in search of freedom.
