"How much do we spend shopping in the USA for two people?": Latinos share their first time at Costco.

What do you think of these prices?

"How much do we spend shopping in the USA?" wrote @SofiayJE on TikTok while sharing a video showing their shopping experience at Costco.

In her video, Sofía explained that they were exploring different supermarkets recommended by their followers to find the best place to do their shopping. This time, they visited Costco for the first time, where they discovered differences compared to other supermarkets like Sam's Club.

During her visit, Sofía highlighted the variety of exclusive products and the offers on meats and other foods. They stated that, although Costco offered products in large quantities that would last longer, they did not find a significant difference in prices compared to Sam's Club. The total of their purchases was $238, a figure quite similar to what they usually spend in other supermarkets.

In the reactions to his video, some recommended other supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl, while others asked if a membership was needed to shop at Costco.

Materials like these are common on social media, not only from those sharing their 'first times' or showing prices to share information with users but also from those who open the debate on high costs and inflation.

What do you think?
