Another fire caused by the explosion of an electric motorcycle occurred in a Cuban home, although fortunately, this time there were no casualties.
The incident occurred early this Monday in Matanzas, in the Guma Alley between Mujica and San Gabriel.
According to the Facebook page La Tijera, the residents had to be rescued from the roof of the house.
The shared photo shows firefighters at the scene. So far, no further details are known.
Less than a week ago, a Cuban couple died after an electric motorcycle exploded in their home in the Luyanó neighborhood of the Diez de Octubre municipality, Havana.
In the incident, another family member who was in the house that night died, and the couple's two daughters, aged 14 and two years, were seriously injured. It was later reported that the younger one died in the hospital.
The crime reporter Niover Licea, who identifies himself online as "Nio reporting a crime," revealed that there were two scooters in the house, one exploded and the fire spread to the other as well. The house was gated, which hindered the access of the rescue forces.
