The storm knocked down electrical wires, poles, and several trees, which forced the Community Services brigades, the Electric UEB, Aguas Turquino, and Transportation to mobilize to address the emergencies.

Rafael Muñiz Guillén, acting president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, assured that, so far, no damage to homes or institutions has been reported.

The authorities in Santiago said they continue to monitor the situation in different neighborhoods to obtain a complete assessment of the possible damages caused by the weather phenomenon.

The trees that were affecting the cables were removed and the electrical service was restored in a short time, returning normalcy to the municipality after the storm.
