Cuban woman in Miami responds to derogatory comment about her cleaning job.

"People have taken the issue of freedom of expression very seriously, and what they are doing is going around spreading poison," he lamented.

The Cuban Mailen Milaleyva, known on TikTok as @mailenmilaleyva, firmly responded to a derogatory comment about her work cleaning houses in Miami.

In the video, which has already accumulated more than 5,300 likes just one day after being shared online, the Cuban responded to a criticism from a user who had written to her: "The need you have is great."

With a clear and direct tone, Mailen explained that, as a Cuban, need has been her companion throughout the 28 years she lived on the island, and it was precisely that need that drove her to seek a better future for her family in the United States.

"If wanting to get ahead to take my family out of a country where one does not live, but survives, is the concept of need, then yes, I am the neediest person in the world," she stated while carrying out her cleaning job.

The TikToker also defended the value of working honestly, stating that it was not about luxury, but rather an effort to support her family. She also criticized those who use "freedom of expression" to spread malicious comments and emphasized: "It’s so easy to live and let live."

Mailen's response received a wave of support in the comments, where many users applauded her bravery and encouraged her to keep fighting: “Be proud that you had the courage to move forward and earn your money humbly and try to make a life for yourself”; “With the freedom that the person in the comment was born with, they only used it to interfere in what doesn’t concern them. My beautiful Cuban, I admire and respect you”; “What a response, thousands of blessings for you. New follower here, stay strong and may you achieve all your goals”; “Well said, but to work honestly you don’t need to be in need. People interfere in what doesn’t concern them, instead of looking at themselves”; “Never give up, I tell you from experience. I worked so hard in this country and thanks to God after 2 years and 6 months I managed to bring 4 members of my family,” they told her.

Some followers also highlighted the effort and dedication of this young Cuban fighter: “How beautiful it is to see someone fight for their dreams. Blessings”; “Live proudly, my girl, for the work you do”; “Keep doing what you do, because that is not a crime, it is honest work. I did it for 15 years and I have never felt denigrated. I was very happy helping my 3 daughters”; “No, ma'am, she has no need. She is a warrior who is not afraid of any job to get ahead. We have all cleaned houses here to make a living”; “People think they offend you when they say that need is hardship. When one has the drive to move forward and, above all, to be proud of being Cuban”; “God bless you. Feel proud that at night you can sleep peacefully because you earn your money decently,” they added.

This is not the first time that Mailen shares her experiences as a Cuban emigrant and her entrepreneurial journey in the cleaning business in Miami on social media, where she has managed to earn a decent living and continue supporting her family in Cuba.

"I've been here for almost two years and I've already brought my dad and my brother; I still have three more to bring... I like seeing how we don't leave family behind," she said a few hours ago in comments on her own post, in response to someone who congratulated her for her willingness to, with her effort, fight to improve the lives of her loved ones.
