A 13-year-old girl has been missing in Havana since Thursday, and family and friends have shared the case online to enhance the search efforts.
The minor's name is Dariana Hoyos Correa, and the last thing known about her is that she was in the municipality of Regla.
“Please, we are desperate to find her. We all know the situation and the violence that exists right now in Cuba. Share so we can see if we can get any information," requested the user Arlet Oni Yemaya on Facebook.
According to Arlet Oni, the mother of the young girl, named Carmen, arrived in Cuba this Friday and is looking for her.
"Everyone who knows her knows what kind of mother she is and she is desperate to find her daughter," she added.
Her grandmother, Lázara Correa Rodríguez, asked that if anyone sees her granddaughter, they should call her at 53852766.
Another friend of the mother named Marlin Ramos shared the phone number on Facebook in case anyone has any information that could be helpful.
