Mabel García Corrales, a 54-year-old Cuban, has been missing since the first week of July, and her son has turned to social media in a desperate effort to obtain information about her whereabouts.

"My mom is still missing. It's been two months and five days, please share so that more people can help," wrote JoseDay DayJose on the social network Facebook, also adding that they are from Ciego de Ávila.

Mabel was last seen in that province. Marbeli, as she is known, is described by her loved ones as a woman with black hair with gray strands and dark eyes. The lady was wearing a sweater, black shorts, and was barefoot.

According to a relative who revealed this to the feminist platform Alas Tensas, the woman suffers from nerve issues. Like many Cubans with that condition, she is not taking any medication due to the existing shortages in the country, as her doctor had prescribed chlorpromazine.

In previous posts, the family reported that they made the corresponding complaint to the police. They also requested that if anyone has information, they can call the number 55200690, write to the Messenger of JoseDay DayJose, or report to the authorities.

This Thursday, it was reported that a mother of three children has been missing since Wednesday morning in Havana, according to family sources.

Identified as Saray Rodríguez, the 27-year-old woman is from Santa Amelia, in San José de las Lajas, and left the day before in the morning heading to Havana. Her family has not been able to contact her since then because her cell phone has been turned off.
