Cuban hairdresser goes viral after falling for a fake scratch-off prank where she thought she won a million dollars.

Nayla became the unexpected star of social media this Wednesday among the Cuban community after a video of her winning a million-dollar lottery scratch-off went viral. A ticket that turned out to be fake and was a prank by her boss, who shared the moment on his Instagram and TikTok. However, it wasn't until hours later that it was revealed to be a joke, and the Cuban hairstylist in Miami wanted to tell the story through her TikTok profile to clarify what happened.

Nayla explains that it all started on a normal day at work when her boss, as he usually does, decided to motivate his team with a special gesture. "I had just celebrated the anniversary of coming to this country with my child," she comments, detailing that she had brought flan to celebrate. Nayla's boss appeared with some scratch cards encouraging them to try their luck. In her innocence, she scratched hers and discovered that she supposedly had won the grand prize of one million dollars. The excitement was so great that she even went to a location where they verified the scratch card, but they did not tell her it was fake. In the video, the Cuban clarifies that she also believed she had won the million-dollar prize.

"We all believed it was true and went to the store where they sell the shaved ice," Nayla recounted, laughing as she recalled the number of plans that flashed through her mind in a matter of seconds, from owning her own home to bringing her family from Cuba. However, everything changed when her boss confessed it was a joke. "He told me to enjoy the moment," she added, showing a positive attitude toward the situation.

Despite the deception, Nayla assured that she holds no resentment and that what she really gained was an avalanche of blessings. "Even though I didn't win a million, I won a million blessings and positive comments," she expressed in her message. She also stated that in the last few hours she has received multiple displays of affection, both from friends and strangers, following the viralization of the video.

With optimism, Nayla concludes her story by assuring that, although the joke did not bring her the monetary prize, it did give her a great lesson and the opportunity to continue radiating her positive energy.
