Comedian Ariel Mancebo on Otaola's words about El Taiger: "You went too far."

Mancebo expressed his outrage and questioned Otaola's sensitivity.

The Cuban comedian Ariel Mancebo, based in the American city of Miami, harshly criticized the recent comments made by Alexander Otaola about the reggaeton artist El Taiger, who is in serious condition after being shot in the head last Thursday.

In a video shared on the social network Tik Tok, Mancebo expressed his outrage, questioning Otaola's sensitivity: "You went too far," he titled the post.

"It seems like you are having a hard time. How are you going to tell all that to a guy who is dying in the hospital? Are you crazy?" he stated.

"Make a video and apologize," added the comedian before mentioning that Otaola "does not represent the exile" and reminding him of the results of the Miami-Dade County mayoral elections.

Although Mancebo clarified that he is not a big follower of reggaeton, he emphasized the importance of El Taiger for many Cubans, including people close to him.

"I know what that guy means to most Cubans. Even my family likes his music. You're speaking badly of a guy who is dying," the comedian added, showing his displeasure.

Otaola's comments, made in one of his programs, generated a wave of outrage on social media.

The Cuban-American presenter talked about El Taiger's health status and the support he has received, referring to the expressions of solidarity: "Now everyone is friends, now everyone wants the best for El Taiger, now everyone is about forgiveness and forgetting, now everyone's doing the prayer chain."

In addition, Otaola hinted that if El Taiger managed to recover, he would probably be left with "special needs," which further intensified the controversy.

In a tone that many found disrespectful and inhumane, Otaola added: "You will have to help change the diaper, give him his food, clean him, perfume him, take him for walks, so I hope you all are willing, in case El Taiger can get through this, to rotate El Taiger for a month at each of your houses."
