Michel Mirabal sends a message of support to El Taiger: "Get up c..."

"Get up, damn it," was the text that accompanied a video in which they are seen sharing moments together at different times.

The visual artist Michel Mirabal shared a message on his social media for the health of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, who is fighting for his life after suffering a gunshot wound to the head on Thursday, October 3rd.

"Get up, damn it," was the text that accompanied a video in which they are seen sharing together at different moments.

It is known that there is a friendship between El Taiger and Michel Mirabal, which has been questioned by various people due to the ambiguous political positions of both.

In 2023, the painter gifted the reggaeton artist one of his works, which consisted of a T with the design of one of his Cuban flags. The piece served as a logo at some of El Taiger's concerts.

During one of his visits to Cuba, El Taiger was at "Finca Calunga," the painter's house located in Guanabo, which serves as a studio and gallery. Part of the video shared by Mirabal on Instagram is based on that meeting.

Mirabal is a controversial visual artist. He has connections with the government in Cuba, being a close friend of figures like former Communist Party leader Lázaro Expósito, but at the same time, he has declared himself an admirer of the singer Willy Chirino and has gifted one of his works to him.

He has been in the crosshairs of opposition figures many times, like Al2 El Aldeano and Silvito El Libre, who joined forces and prepared a diss track against him and also against El Taiger.

The investigation into the El Taiger incident is still ongoing, and so far the police have not revealed any new details.
