Cuban Babalawo dedicates message to El Taiger: "There is no greater blessing than the support of your people."

"I ask everyone who is religious to, from their palms on the floor, make a prayer to San Lázaro, light a candle, and ask for the health of this human being," said the Ifá priest.

A Cuban babalawo shared an emotional message of hope and good energy this Saturday directed at the Cuban singer José Manuel Carbajal, known as El Taiger, who is stable but still in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami: “There is no greater joy than the blessing of a people.”

Kevin (@kartiles95) shared a video on TikTok where, referring to the Cuban singer, he said: "Today you are going through a situation from which you will emerge, because you are a child of San Lázaro."

The babalawo highlighted the support and affection that the artist's followers feel: "You have an entire community by your side that today puts their palms on the ground for you, with all your flaws, with your virtues, with everything that can be said about you, but in the end, you are a human being."

"I ask everyone who is religious to, from their palms on the floor, say a prayer to San Lázaro, light a candle, and pray for the health of this human being," the religious figure stated.

The Ifá priest added that when El Taiger recovers and sees the message, he must remember that the deities are by his side, supporting him so that he continues to act with kindness and that life continues to smile upon him.

Finally, he expressed his best wishes, hoping that everything goes well for him on his path to recovery.

People from all over have prayed for El Taiger's recovery after the shooting he suffered last Thursday.

Artist fans in Barcelona gathered on Sunday evening to pray for his recovery, while the reggaeton artist remains in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

The appointment started at 7:00 pm at the cathedral of the City of Condal, located in Pla de la Seu.

From there, candles were lit, and songs by the Cuban musician, very popular among the so-called "reparteros," were sung and danced to.

In different cities in Cuba, vigils have also taken place where people have prayed for the artist's health.

In Santiago de Cuba, for example, it took place in several points of the city, although the Cuban police militarized the streets for fear that protests would occur.
