Moving message from Yomil after El Taiger's death: "Now you're next to your purita and with Dany."

"The only peace I can feel in the midst of so much sadness is that you will not be alone, right now you are by your Purita's side, just like you always dreamed, and with Dany there by your side too," said Yomil as part of his message.

Cuban singer Yomil Hidalgo shared an emotional message on social media after learning about the death of El Taiger, who had fought for his life for a week, reflecting the deep impact this loss has had on his life and on the Cuban reggaeton genre.

Despite the sadness, the artist said on Instagram that he finds comfort in imagining that El Taiger has already reunited with his mother and with Dany, Yomil's deceased partner, in a life beyond: "Today a legend has left us for another life... the only peace I can feel amidst so much sadness is that you will not be alone; right now you are by your Purita's side, just as you always dreamed, and with Dany there beside you too."

"Since October 3, my days have been filled with total sadness and worry about José's situation," confessed Yomil, who hasn't stopped expressing his gratitude towards José Manuel Carbajal, the real name of the deceased singer, acknowledging the importance he had in the beginning of his music career.

"The only thing I will always have in my heart for him is gratitude, because thanks to him, DpuntoD gained the acceptance of the public, and from that point, we began the journey," he emphasized.

Yomil also highlighted the more human and vulnerable side of El Taiger, emphasizing that many did not understand the pain he carried after losing his mother: "Many people had no idea of the big heart you had and did not understand that the greatest support he had was his mom, and without her, his life changed."

In his message, he also recalled the close friends who were always by his side: “I am a witness to the good friends who were with him and supported him in all his craziness,” and mentioned figures such as El Miki, Irán, Hansel, José el Negro, Marvin, Maykel, among others.

Finally, he recognized his legacy: “We lost ‘La tranka’ of Cuba, the fiercest, the wild one. Rest in peace, my brother, for those who truly care will continue to remember you from here.”

Before the information about El Taiger's passing became public, Yomil had expressed with sorrow and great sadness that he celebrated his 33rd birthday this Wednesday.

"Today is the saddest birthday I have ever spent in my life," said the artist this Wednesday on his social media.

Yomil is one of the many artists who have joined their voices on social media to mourn the passing of El Taiger.
