Aly Sánchez: "They took you before Jose, but El Taiger will always have your music, which is eternal."

"I don't know what to say that would do you justice; I have that feeling of emptiness and deep sadness that comes when losing a family member."

The Cuban actress and presenter Aly Sánchez expressed her sorrow following the death of urban singer José Manuel Carbajal, known as El Taiger, who passed away on October 10 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, after a week in critical condition due to a gunshot wound to the head.

Through her Instagram account, Aly shared a message full of sadness, along with two recordings of voice messages from the artist himself and a concert she attended, thus recalling moments they lived together and the mark he left on everyone.

"I don't know what to say that does you justice, I have that feeling of emptiness and deep sadness that comes with losing a family member. Here I leave you in your own voice because we respected and loved you so much. We are going to miss the joy at the concerts of LA TRANKA DE CUBA and the conversations with Jose, your advice, we are going to miss your funny comments on my posts and the 'that's my sister and that's it'," Aly wrote in a post filled with nostalgia and pain.

"They took you earlier, Jose, but EL TAIGER will forever keep your music, which is eternal. Rest in peace, brother, I hope those who wished you harm come to have your values,” he concluded with a broken heart and the hashtag #RIP.

This message comes after, during the days when El Taiger was hospitalized in critical condition, Aly had already publicly shown her support for the artist when she shared a touching anecdote that reflected José Manuel's true personality.

"I am a friend to my friends and I make sure to be good to those who are good to me," she said, recalling how, in the midst of a hate campaign against her, El Taiger stood by her side, regardless of the criticism. She also recounted how the singer attended a charity event she organized, demonstrating his humility by participating without expecting recognition. "He was there for us, he texted me on Friday night to confirm and came to support without really knowing what it was about, on a Saturday at 8 in the morning, ready to take pictures with anyone who asked," Aly said at that moment, highlighting that El Taiger considered his participation as part of the "work of God."

The shock over the death of El Taiger, at just 37 years old, has been immense, not only among his followers but also in the artistic world, as evidenced by Aly Sánchez's post, which has been filled with comments of pain and sadness. "The pain is great; let's try to think that heaven is celebrating and is much more beautiful because it just received a star"; “So much sadness”; “Luzzzz today we dance El Taiger," were some of the messages that flooded her post, showing the affection that everyone felt for the reggaeton artist.

The swift departure of El Taiger has left a void not only in Cuba and among his fans around the world but has also resonated internationally. Artists like J Balvin, Farruko, and 6ix9ine have also mourned his loss, highlighting his talent and legacy.

The Cuban artistic world is in mourning, and although José Manuel has gone, as Aly Sánchez rightly says, the music of El Taiger will remain forever. The "tranka" of Cuba will live on in every song, staying present in the hearts of his audience.
