Ana Peleteiro, the elite Spanish athlete, joined the expressions of sorrow for the tragic death of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, who passed away on October 10 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami after a week in critical condition following a gunshot wound to the head.

The world champion, who had Cuban Iván Pedroso as her coach for eight years, shared her sorrow on TikTok with an emotional video in which she is seen listening to "La Historia," one of the most iconic songs by the singer.

In the description of her post, Ana wrote: "Rest in peace #eltaiger #RIP". About the video, where the song plays in the background, she wrote: "Taiger went to heaven... but this anthem will remain among us forever."

His post reached over 86,000 likes in less than a day and surpassed one and a half million views, clearly reflecting the impact that El Taiger's death has left on many.

Peleteiro's video has sparked a wave of reactions among his followers, many of whom are still struggling to come to terms with the tragic news.
