Cuban in Brazil advises Cubans to go directly to the USA: "Don't spend your money here"

A young Cuban warns her compatriots not to sell their house in Cuba to emigrate to Brazil and suggests using that money to travel directly to the United States.

A young Cuban has published a video on her TikTok profile in which she gives advice to her compatriots who are planning to emigrate. In the clip, shared on the account @yusi_cuba90, the young woman warns Cubans not to sell their homes on the Island to emigrate to Brazil, a route that some consider viable.

In her message, the young woman argues that those who decide to sell their house in Cuba to settle in Brazil might be making a bad decision. Instead, she proposes that those savings be used to embark on a journey to the United States, asserting that, in her opinion, this country offers greater opportunities.

The Cuban highlights the journey that some undertake from Brazil to the United States, which includes long walks and risky border crossings. "With that money, go straight to the United States," she expresses, emphasizing that it is a preferable route if the goal is to improve living conditions.

The video has generated a wave of comments from Cubans who are considering or have already made the trip to Brazil. Some agree with the young woman, while others express that each person should decide based on their personal situation and available resources.

"You are absolutely right, many come deceived like me and spend the little they have here, but if we leave Cuba, we can also leave from here," "You are right," or "Not everyone can gather all that money to go to the United States," some followers have commented.

The migratory phenomenon from Cuba to Brazil has increased in recent years, partly due to the opportunities that the South American country offers to migrants. However, the advice of this young woman reflects a growing concern among those seeking to settle in the U.S., considered by many as the final destination to improve their living conditions.
