The funeral ceremony of José Manuel Carbajal, El Taiger, began on Saturday, October 19, at 1:00 p.m. at San Lázaro Church in Miami.
Images circulated on social media of the moment the artist's coffin arrived at the church where family, friends, and fans gathered to say a final goodbye.
The remains of the Cuban reggaeton artist arrived under heavy police custody. This week, a member of his team said that the tribute would be with a closed casket and under police security, but in the distant images, the open coffin can be seen.
The case of El Taiger, whose death was the result of a gunshot to the head, is still under police investigation.
