A Cuban explodes against Díaz-Canel: "Get out of the way and make room for someone who can take this country out of misery."

A Cuban has published a video on TikTok where she lashes out at President Miguel Díaz-Canel amidst the energy crisis affecting Cuba.

A Cuban woman has sent a powerful message to President Miguel Díaz-Canel through her TikTok account @mirelvisvila401, in which she directly holds him responsible for the critical situation the country is facing.

The video, which has gone viral on the platform, was recorded amid the energy crisis that Cuba is experiencing, and in it, the woman expresses her frustration and indignation over the living conditions on the island and the lack of solutions from the government.

The woman, visibly upset, explained that she was unable to communicate with her daughter, who lives on the island, for many hours due to the constant blackouts occurring in the country.

In his message, he harshly criticized the leader: "You have spent the years you have been at the head of a country repressing us. Depriving us of basic needs such as food and electricity. As all human beings in the world should live," he expressed, while pointing out the daily difficulties faced by the Cuban population.

Additionally, he accused Díaz-Canel of being a "sticker" or "puppet," describing him as a "decorative figure" who has not used the money from remittances to improve the situation of the citizens.

The Cuban also referred to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MiPymes) which, according to her, "have facades because everyone knows they belong to you and the Castros."

He questioned: "Where do you put the money?" referring to the resources that don't seem to reach the essential infrastructures of the country, like the thermoelectric plants, which frequently leave the population without electricity.

In a tone of desperation, the woman urged Díaz-Canel to step aside and allow someone else to take control of the country: "Get out of the way, make room for someone who can take this country and get it out of the misery you have it in," she declared in the video.

The direct and clear message from this Cuban reflects the growing discontent experienced in Cuban society due to the economic, social, and energy crisis affecting the island.

Its publication has generated a wide impact on social media, where many users have shown solidarity with its words and have shared the video as a show of support.
