A few weeks ago, Otaola shared with his audience that he had purchased this beach house, but it wasn't until now that the exact amount of the transaction was revealed: 2.3 million dollars.

According to the real estate portal Zillow, the property features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three additional apartments that the owner has listed for rent on the AirBnb platform.

The house, located by the sea, is considered a strategic investment that complements the ranch Otaola already owns, from which he hosts his popular social media programs. With this purchase, the presenter has added a new gem to his real estate portfolio, eliciting all kinds of reactions.

“To those who criticize me for buying a ranch, you must now suffer even more because now I also own my own beach,” declared Otaola on the day he announced the purchase, in his characteristic irreverent tone.

Opinions were quick to emerge. Many of his followers celebrated the achievement, congratulating the host and expressing interest in booking stays at the house, while others, his most ardent critics, voiced discomfort regarding the Cuban's growing fortune.

The purchase of this property not only reflects Otaola's economic success in the United States, but it also positions him as a figure who continues to generate controversy and maintain his relevance in the Cuban media landscape.

Alexander Otaola was born in Camagüey and began his artistic career at the age of 10. In the late 1990s, he moved to Havana, and in 2003, he settled in Miami after winning the visa lottery, known in Cuba as "el bombo."

In South Florida, he became known for his character Carlos Recto on the Mega TV show "Esta Noche Tu Night," hosted by Alexis Valdés. He later had his own interview segment, "Paparazzi TV," which was marked by the controversy that characterizes the host.

In 2017, Otaola turned to social media with his own YouTube show, "Hola Ota-Ola!", which remains the most viewed and followed internet show among the Cuban community to this day.
