Alexis Valdés shared on his social media his visit to the Acosta Dance Centre in London, where he met with the renowned Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta. In a video shared on Instagram, Valdés is heard referring to Acosta as "the great Cuban dancer." Upon arriving at the academy, Valdés was greeted with applause alongside his partner, Claudia, who accompanied him and enjoyed the special moment.

Regarding the video, the comedian and host added messages emphasizing Acosta's significance in the artistic realm. "Commentator of the Order of the British Empire. Not much," he wrote, highlighting the recognition Acosta has received in the United Kingdom.

In April, Acosta was nominated in the United Kingdom in the Outstanding Creative Contribution category for his work Black Sabbath_The Ballet, a performance that combines classical ballet with the music of the British band Black Sabbath. His company, Acosta Danza, was also recognized in the Medium-Sized Company category, highlighting its impact on the dance scene.
