Deivis Núñez (@deivis_nunez) did not hold back and shared his thoughts on those who leave Miami and then criticize the city. In a video he posted on his TikTok account, Deivis spoke directly "to those who speak poorly of Miami" and likened them to a "toxic ex" who can't get over their past relationship. His message quickly gained traction on social media, where the topic has sparked controversy more than once.
"Why do they have to talk badly about Miami after they leave?" the Cuban began, clearly upset with the criticisms. He listed the typical complaints of those who abandon the city: "They say there's a huge hassle, terrible dirtiness, that traffic is awful, and prices are sky-high." According to him, many of these people simply didn't find their "luck" in the city and left because things didn't go well for them, but that doesn't mean everyone shares the same experience.
"There are people who are doing well and not poorly, and congratulations to those who are doing well," Deivis said, emphasizing that success depends on the individual. He also compared the situation to those living in other states like Texas or New York, where some are doing well and others not so much, but "they don't speak badly" of those places. Deivis believes that those who criticize Miami do so because deep down "they want to be here but couldn't."
In the comments, the topic sparked mixed reactions. Some users agreed with Deivis, saying things like, “It’s the truth, it’s not the place; it’s simply where your luck shifts better,” and “They say that because they want to be there, but they were forced to leave.” However, there were also opposing opinions, with one user bluntly stating, “Miami is garbage, and you know it.”
What do you think?
