Yordenis Ugás criticizes exiles who are alarmed by Cuba after Trump's victory: "It's hypocrisy."

"In Cuba they didn't speak because they weren't allowed to leave, and here they also don't speak out of fear of not being allowed to enter."

Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugás criticized his fellow countrymen in the United States who are alarmed by Cuba's fate following Donald Trump's victory in Tuesday's elections.

In a live stream on his Facebook profile, the boxer labeled as "hypocrisy" the fact that so many Cubans in exile claim to be concerned about the fate of those still on the Island, when they have never wanted to do anything for the freedom of their homeland.

"For years, we have asked for activism, and many of them say: I send money to my family, my family is fine. And yet, the neighbor who has nothing can take a hit," he questioned.

For Yordenis, the worst attitude that Cubans can adopt when emigrating is to refrain from condemning the dictatorship in order to be able to travel to the Island.

"In Cuba, they didn't speak because they were not allowed to leave, and here they don't speak out of fear of not being allowed in. These are the same people who are now worried about Cubans because Trump is out of office; please," she concluded.

Ugás, a recognized activist against the communist regime in Cuba, is a passionate admirer of Donald Trump.

On Tuesday, following the Republican victory, he thanked the American people for granting him four more years to lead the United States in order to "finish the work he began in 2016."

"He is not the best person in the world. He is a man with virtues and flaws, but he loves his country and has been willing to die for it. He has been through all of this and possesses what it takes to steer this ship to a better harbor," he expressed on Facebook.

"He is chosen by God. He is a warrior who fills his supporters with pride. (...) He makes history as the second president to reclaim the White House after being defeated. Go, President. Go and become the best president in the history of this beautiful and blessed country. Do it! Make America great again," he said.

In July, after the court verdict declaring Trump guilty of 34 offenses was revealed, the Cuban boxer came to his defense, asserting that the legal process was politicized.

"This is absurd; these are minor offenses that have been turned into a felony," he emphasized.

"Donald Trump will easily win the elections in November. They have turned him into a victim because the majority believes this is a process that has been politicized," he emphasized.
