A medium-sized fire was extinguished on Thursday morning in the Olivos neighborhood of the city of Sancti Spíritus, with no reported loss of life or injuries.
According to information shared by user Danyer Rodríguez Farías in the Facebook group “Revolico Sancti Spíritus,” the residents of the apartment located in building 2 of the mentioned neighborhood were not at home.
In the video shared by this user, it was possible to see the firefighters' efforts to extinguish the fire.
As of the writing of this note, the causes of this incident are unknown.
A few days ago, a car battery explosion inside a home at the intersection of Trinidad and Reloj streets in Santiago de Cuba triggered a swift response from the fire department, who managed to control the incident without any reported injuries.
