Lazarito Valdés, leader of the Cuban group Bamboleo, shared a reflection with his fans on social media about his new life in Miami.

Through a post on his Facebook account, the artist expressed feeling optimistic about this new phase, describing it as "a second chance to be born."

In his message, accompanied by emojis full of positive energy, Valdés wrote: "For all of us, there is the possibility of a great change in life, which is roughly equivalent to a second chance to be born. Happy Tuesday and blessings. Bamboleo and Bien."

This statement comes after his decision to settle in the United States with his family, a news that he had previously confirmed in an interview with La Casa de Maka on YouTube.

In that conversation, the musician discussed the reasons behind his decision, mentioning the economic and social challenges faced by artists in Cuba.

"The situation in Cuba has become unsustainable, especially for musicians. We face an ongoing challenge that limits our professional and personal development," explained Valdés.

Since its founding in 1995, Bamboleo has stood out as one of the most influential groups in Cuba's popular dance music, carrying its successes beyond the island's borders.

Many followers celebrated the artist's new phase, while others recalled his involvement in the conga "Con Cuba no te metas," composed by Virulo, where Cuban artists take aim at Donald Trump in a music video funded by MINCULT.

Lazarito Valdés aims to continue making an impact in Cuban music, now from exile. In this new phase, the musician reaffirms his commitment to his art and remains open to the opportunities presented by this "second chance" in the United States.
