A Cuban was the main actor in a dramatic robbery at the El Louvre hotel store in the heart of Matanzas city.
The individual, identified as José Rafael Rodríguez Durán, was arrested and the stolen clothing items were recovered, according to the official source "Con todos la Victoria" on Facebook.
Rodríguez Durán, who has a history of offenses including burglary, possession of a knife, assault, and property damage, is now facing a new charge after breaking the store's window to steal clothing items inside.
The official source did not provide further details about the circumstances or the modus operandi of the theft at the exclusive hotel.
