Twenty blood donors joined together this Friday to save the life of a 24-year-old woman from Pinar diagnosed with leukemia.

The patient, who requires at least 20 blood transfusions every five days, received this support thanks to a call aimed at mobilizing people willing to donate O+ or O- blood.

The information was later shared by Marielys Pérez, who thanked the altruistic gesture of the donors on Facebook and emphasized the importance of continuing these actions, as the young woman will require more donations due to the severity of her condition.

Pérez also urged continued support and sharing of this cause, highlighting the desperation of families facing a critical health situation, which is very personal to her as she herself has had her daughter hospitalized for an extended period.
