Inspiring!: Young Cuban with a disability sells fruits and smoothies in Miami

The Cuban is from Cienfuegos.

A Cuban, originally from Cienfuegos and missing an arm, sells juices, smoothies, and fruits on Sundays on the central Lincoln Road, in Miami Beach, an effort that has been praised by the TikToker Leonel Allegues, who interviewed him.

"We must keep moving forward despite life's adversity", wrote Allegues alongside the video posted on TikTok.

The Cuban, named "Carlos," explained that he lives in the Allapatah neighborhood and invited all Cubans and visitors to Miami Beach to stop by his fruit and smoothie stand.

"I have been doing this for eight years, every Sunday", he explained.

When asked if his disability makes it difficult for him to work, he answered no.

"This does not prevent anything. We must work, we must fight, and move forward", he concluded.

In the comments section of the post, a Cuban mentioned knowing him from crossing the Darién Jungle.

"Together we crossed the jungle. My husband and I helped him. An example that if you want it, you can achieve it", pointed out the internet user.

Others agreed in celebrating the example of perseverance and the determination to move forward of this Cuban.
