In addition, it was announced that next month Lester is expected to be admitted to the Julito Díaz Hospital in Havana to continue his rehabilitation with more exercise sessions and ozone therapy, which enhances his physical progress and improves his quality of life.

In June, the young man began his rehabilitation in the Cuban capital, aiming to strengthen his body and learn to walk again.

The father, who has been there for his son's rehabilitation every step of the way, shared a picture of the young man enjoying a day with his family in Guardalavaca, highlighting his optimism regarding his son's progress.

"I hope he continues to evolve for the better, and that God keeps performing the miracle of recovering him along with the doctors," he expressed.

In May, after attending the trial against his aggressor, the young man expressed feeling very dissatisfied, as reported on social media by his father.

In a lengthy post published on Facebook, Dennis Domínguez expressed his fear that the accused might be favored by the court.

“Right there in the prison, the time that is pending is in the kitchen, and outside, comments from inmates and guards say that he is Gámez's family, who is in charge of the Provisional, threatening the inmates that this is his godson and that nothing can happen to him. Enjoying better privileges,” Domínguez complained about the alleged perks that Adrián Grass Bermúdez, accused of seriously injuring Lester in March 2023 would be enjoying in prison.
