The two young Cuban women who were arrested are cousins.

Two young Cuban women from Miami have been charged with aggravated assault after attacking the current partner of one of their ex-boyfriends and causing injuries to the man as well.

The accused are two cousins: Rosa Carrazco Pérez (34 years old) and Marla Pérez Lores (25), according to the local press citing police sources.

Authorities reported that Marla Pérez Lores had ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend four months before the attack.

However, on January 17th at around 3:25 p.m. (local time), the young woman and her cousin, Rosa Carrazco, arrived by car at an undisclosed location in Miami, where they saw the current partner of the ex-boyfriend alongside their vehicle.

Pérez Lores got out of the passenger seat armed with a metal pipe and struck the victim multiple times on the head and body.

Subsequently, Carrazco Pérez got out of the car, grabbed the woman by the hair, and threw her to the ground, keeping her immobilized while his cousin continued to hit her with the pipe.

During the assault, Pérez Lores also bit the victim on the left thigh.

The ex-boyfriend left his residence and managed to intervene.

He was struck on the right hand with a pipe, but he managed to separate the attackers and bring his girlfriend inside the house.

The victim suffered a laceration on the head, a minor wound on the neck, and a bite mark on the thigh, while the man had a bruise on his right hand.

Both suspects remained at the scene until the arrival of the officers and were arrested.

They are currently in custody at the TGK jail with a bail set at $10,000.
