A Cuban was involved in a violent incident with a firearm and a knife that occurred Thursday night on a street in Miami, which ended with an injured person hospitalized.
The incident occurred at 1335 NE Miami Ct, and the images of the argument and the shooting were recorded from above by a resident in the area.
The video, shared on Instagram by the user ONLY in DADE, shows a Cuban, dressed in a white t-shirt and holding a weapon, saying "what's up, buddy" to another Hispanic who is threatening him with a knife, while a third person tries to intervene and prevent the fight.
Despite the Cuban constantly retreating and dodging the knife, he ultimately ends up shooting, and the shot hits the other man, who falls to the ground.
According to information from ONLY in DADE, the bullet hit him in the arm, and he had to be taken to the Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Another video shows several police patrol cars arriving at the scene.
"The officials discovered shell casings and blood at the scene. The victim, a 32-year-old man (...) was alert and conscious at the time he was found. No further details have been released at this time," the report states.
